My name is Joe Wirkus
I am the Webmaster for this, and all other "The Bear's Den" web sites. I also do the design work for various artworks, carvings and wood crafts.
My business partner & The Bear's Den's Master Craftsman is
Bob Henson. He has been making fine custom furniture for the past 30 plus years.
I must also say nobody makes a better piece of furniture than he!

If you would like to request a carved portrait of anyone, please feel free to contact me. We do special carvings from photographs. Photographs must be emailed, or on cd-rom, or even usb portable drives. Any disks sent, will be returned with shipped product. However, a deposit must be placed on ALL special orders! Please do not send printed photos, they will not be returned, or used!
